This is the council decision in respect of the Whataroa Forest cartage. As can be seen from the decision, it has been decided not to allow the logs to be carted on the roads.
It should be noted that the Council has stated that they will wish to consult with all relevant parties regarding the use of roads in the Sounds. The Association has written to the council to express an interest in being involved in the consultation.
